I have a small but exciting update to share.
As the mobile bookshop continues popping up at markets and community events, I’m looking for a fill-in bookseller to help bring books to readers when I can’t be there.
This is a flexible, as-needed position, mostly on weekends, helping run the bookshop at local events and markets.
You might enjoy this role if you:
• Love books and talking about what you're reading
• Enjoy meeting people and being part of community events
• Have experience with sales, retail, or marketing (a plus, but not required)
What the role involves:
• Helping customers browse and discover books
• Chatting with readers and making recommendations
• Running the mobile bookshop booth during events
Compensation is $100 per event, plus commission on strong sales.
